It's raining it's raining...

...everyone's inside. And not visiting me.

Yesterday (when it wasn't pouring down yet) I organised my first 'large' scale game ever. I very eloquently named it 'The Animal Sounds Game' and, surprise surprise, it was a game involving animal sounds. I know this comes as a shock to many of you, but please, contain yourselves. The idea is that there's a bunch of people hidden in a certain area making animal sounds (hence the title hey hey hey) and then there's teams that have to find them in a certain order.

Well, I promoted my game until I was figuratively dead by talking to everyone in sight and making posters and stuff. And hanging up the posters. I mean, the things I do for my job! (All the very many things indeed.) Then the evening of the game came and I was eagerly anticipating the masses of people that undoubtedly (why is there a 'ed' in undoubtedly? stupid) would show up... Well, my prediction was slightly off, because I ended up with two teams instead of five, but hey, at least people showed up! And they found the animals in a reasonable amount of time and they didn't hate it???¿?? So I deem this a success.

But yeah, today is one of those non-salvageable rainy days. I moved the hike that I planned for today to tomorrow (good choice, if I say so myself) and now it almost feels like an extra free day. I'm sitting cosily inside, looking up ideas for crafts, and writing a blog post.
