I didn't choose the Toboggan lyfe, the Toboggan lyfe chose me

Guys I haven't been entirely honest or well I have but I guess I kind of forgot to mention that my mum was here with my brother and my cousin woops. Anyway my mum was here with my brother and my cousin. For me this meant loads of free food and moral support. For them it meant being in close proximity of both sun and lake and me, so I think this was a win for everyone.

Anycow, as you may have guessed from the title, we went Tobogganing (<--- real word? it is now), which basically means you get strapped to a wobbly sled-like contraption, hauled up by some kind of elevator thing, and then go down as you can. Of course you also have the possibility to break in the turns, but lets be honest, there's no fun in that. Instead, I advice you to sit yourself in the tiny sled with another person. Aside from it being uncomfortably cosy, your combined weight will propel the two of you downhill with a higher than strictly desirable speed. Fun times guaranteed.

However much I liked my mum being here, all good things must come to an end, and so I find myself alone yet again. I'm still unsure as to how I will survive the next six weeks in terms of nutrition (cooking is NOT my strong point), but at least I don't have a mental breakdown any more every time someone says hi. Yay, progress.

Okay end of text Maaike out.
